TORONTO, ON – A founding member of the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators has been awarded a top prize in the area of workers’ compensation law from the Ontario Bar Association (OBA).

Dr. Michel Lacerte has been named the winner of the OBA’s 2016 Ron Ellis Award for Excellence in Workers’ Compensation Law. The award recognizes exceptional contributions and achievement in the field of workers’ compensation law.

The OBA’s award is given annually to an individual who demonstrates leadership in the development of workers’ compensation law, including teaching, scholarly writing and lobbying, and the enhancement of the practice of workers’ compensation law.
