We are inviting REC talks on the top of traumatic brain
injury broadly defined. REC talks must be evidence based. Topics may relate to
assessment (e.g. neuroimaging, neuropsychological, neurological, psychiatric,
physiatric, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and so on), diagnostic
issues, outcome, rehabilitation and treatment. Case studies will be
considered.Take part in ‘REC’ Talks (REC = Research, Education, Case Studies) which are topical oral sessions that are arranged at the discretion of the CSME Program Committee, Each talk will be limited to 8 minutes pf oral presentations with an audience discussion to follow. CSME membership is NOT required – anyone may submit their work for consideration, and we encourage all health care professions (e.g., neurology, physiatry, occupational therapy, orthopaedics, speech therapy, physiotherapy, rehabilitation support worker, and so on) as well as others involved in the medico-legal process (e.g., lawyers, IME company directors). There is no limitation on the number of submissions. Moreover, each REC Talk should speak to only one idea from either research, educational matter, or a case study only.
